Seattle's city council confronts Scott Murrow and Share bums.

The following is a response from the city council of Seattle washington and Aide to council member Herbold concerning our articles on SHARE

Dear Brian,
Thank you for sharing your suggestions on how to solve the Share Wheel issue. I staff human services and public health issues for this office. Council member Herbold recently met with SHARE/ WHEEL and is supportive of their efforts to address some of the issues, like case management that you have raised.  Council member Bagshaw chairs the Human Services and Public Health Committee whose purpose is to provide policy direction and oversight and to deliberate and make recommendations on legislative matters relating to: human services, homelessness, child care, aging, and disability services; local and regional public health; and Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD), which allows law enforcement officers to redirect low-level offenders engaged in drug or prostitution activity to community-based services; and film and music activities.

Additionally, I have copied Catherine Lester, Director of Human Services.  Council member Bagshaw and Director Lester are best able to respond to your questions or concerns.

Thank you for contacting Council member Herbold about this important issue.

Best regards,

Andra Kranzler
